Payment options available are Mastercard, Visa, Eftpos, Afterpay and Cash. All payments must be made at the conclusion of service. 

1.6% Merchant fee is applied to all card payments, and 6 % fee is applied to afterpay payments. 

$3 Sustainability fee is included in all prices.

The final cost of a groom may differ from the advertised or booked price. The price of a groom is worked out once your dog has been assessed, and the fee depends on the coat's condition, matting, length and grooming style. 

We understand that life sometimes gets in the way. Therefore, you will receive a text and email reminder 72 hrs before you are due.

Appointments can be re-arranged or canceled up to 48 hrs beforehand with no charge. However, if you contact us with less than 24 hrs notice, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply. If you do not show up, we will charge you the total cost of the appointment. As a small business, we, unfortunately, cannot afford to lose out on income for these appointments, so please let us know in plenty of time if you can't make it!

We know that no owner deliberately lets their dog become matted, but it does happen quite quickly, and it can be tricky to groom a dog with a matted coat. I will always prioritise your dog's welfare and will not inflict any excessive stress or discomfort. 

I may need to do a very short clip; this can cause irritation as the blades have to run below the mat very close to the skin. This takes longer than a regular clip. We may also uncover nicks, cuts or other problems hidden by the matted hair. Doggy Stylz Cairns cannot be held liable for any after-grooming effects of matt clipping procedures or issues uncovered on a badly matted, neglected coat, which could include, but are not limited to, the following: itchiness, skin redness or self-inflicted irritations/abrasions from excessive rubbing. 

Please be aware that there is a much higher risk that the dog's skin could be nicked with the clippers as we have to get the blade underneath the matt to remove it, and although we will make every effort to avoid it, it does occasionally happen that we nick the skin.

 When dropping off your dog you will be given a timeframe for the completion of services. A message will be sent once completed and I request that all dogs are collected within thirty minutes of being informed the dog is ready  

Your dogs' vaccinations must be up to date, as well as parasite treatments and medications before every groom. Doggy Stylz Cairns is not liable for potential infections and diseases contracted. 

My job is to keep your dog safe during their visit, we have two segregated playpens for holding dogs, and we keep them in family groups. Water and treats are offered during a groom.  

If your pup becomes excited, aggressive or anxious, I will slow down and make sure your dog is safe before continuing. If the session becomes unsafe for your dog or me, I may discontinue the groom and will only charge according to time spent and completion.
